Originally a pitch that was supposed to be for a single Sellotape Christmas campaign, this work (and the relationship we built with the client) ended up securing the holding company’s entire portfolio. Turning the agency from a rank outsider into a Henkel preferred partner for all advertising and marketing.   

Sellotape was turning 80, so to celebrate its big birthday, we created a limited edition vintage tin to serve as a stocking filler. 

However, to justify its £10 price tag we knew we needed to do more. So, we made it feel much bigger than just any old tin. We made it a gesture,  a token of affection,  something friends and family could personalise. It wasn’t just a present, it was a promise to stick by the person they loved.

This product was supported by a full 360 campaign that stretched from DOOH and Social right through to shopper marketing. 

The limited edition tins completely sold out weeks before Christmas.

For social, we created a digital version of the tin that let people record and share a personalised message with their friends, family and loved ones.
